The spindles lavender

Elsa Lenthal, a very talented craftswoman, allowed me to offer you her Lavender spindles from her 2023 harvest in Les Baux de Provence. It is an aromatic object which was put in the trousseau of Provençal brides to keep insects away from the linen. Elsa is one of the last artisans to practice this ancestral knowledge and to communicate it so that this practice does not fall into disuse. With each harvest, new spindles woven from old ribbons arrive randomly at the shop. The choice of design is therefore not guaranteed. Only the color shade.

The scent of the lavender spindles should be reactivated by lightly pressing them. They then exude all their relaxing and delicious properties. They can be put in drawers with delicate linen, but also presented as a bouquet in a pretty glass in a bedroom.
