The Tam tam stool is an essential piece of furniture from the 20th century. It was created in 1968 by French designer Henry Massonnet . This plastic stool was originally a removable, extra seat for fishing enthusiasts. Its well thought-out design with its hourglass shape and its great lightness as well as its colors are the main reasons for its success. Made in France, this stool met with worldwide success so much so that it was even exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
